Christian Volunteers NEEDED!

CEN’s ReadyFL is looking for volunteers to assist various partner response organizations in the Fort Myers, FL area.

If you would be available for a week or more and would like to help with recovery efforts, please fill out this ReadyFL Hurricane Ian Form and someone from our CEN volunteer team will get back to you.

We are especially looking for those to help with home clean out. Our partner organization will provide basic shelter, training, and food. A typical assignment may last 7-14days, but our partner organization will accept weekends and short stays. CEN is looking for volunteers that are physically able to clean out flooded homes. Please call or text us at 321-358-1900 or click here

Sleeping accommodations will be an air mattress or cot in a safe air conditioned church with shower access.

If you have any Volunteer Questions please call CEN’s ReadyFL Public Information Officer David Craig  1-321-358-1900

If you are a CEN ReadyChurch or would like to “Adopt the Ft Myers Anthem Church”, site to the CEN response in the hardest hit area, please CONTACTUs and our National team will get back to you.

“He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.” Proverbs 14:31

Let’s PRAY!

Father, are you asking me to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this crisis? Will you help me to be stirred by the awareness of the pain and needs that are surfacing in Ft Myers, FL and the fact that every living person is created by You and each is precious in His sight? Will you help me to bridge any economic, social or racial barriers to my witness of You in this crisis response whether on site in Ft Myers FL or with any You bring on my path?

  3. This is a great way to serve and give back to the community! Many people will shy away due to their perception of "lack of knowledge". If your heart is to help, that means your attitude is to serve and learn. People are needed just to help lift and move tree limbs, or help distribute food items, or help at the base camp. The needs are numerous and most likely will include a skill set you already have and the mentors are there to help coach you into proper use of that skill. So, don't let fear beat you out of an opportunity to be a blessing!
