The National Hurricane Center is predicting an active hurricane season this year, as reported in the Daily Mail, “This year’s hurricane season is predicted to be so active that weather officials are considering moving up the official start date, which is usually June 1.”

No one knows for certain whether this hurricane forecast will be spot on, or if the hurricane activity will be more frequent, or less. However, the reality is hurricanes are likely to strike and we need to be prepared.
