Against the backdrop of declining church attendance in the U.K. the Church of Scotland led a spirit filled service honoring Queen Elizabeth as she often quoted the Bible bringing the Hope of Jesus for seven decades around the world in war and peacetime. A high rate of violence surrounds Pro-Life centers across the U.S. Churches BE AWARE: Without prosecutions law enforcement says these attacks will become routine as 16 attacks have resulted in ZERO prosecutions. Title IX ushers in more dangers to women and children in the U.S. while attacks on Christians in India is up 81%. China is liquidating house churches as Christians flee to Thailand having been turned away in South Korea as asylum seekers. Nicaragua is beginning to crack down on churches moving South America into the spotlight of threats to church security.

Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom and beloved leader of the free world died this week after talking about and serving her Maker faithfully and sacrificially for 96 years! Al-Qaeda’s killing spree on Christians in Somalia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Mogadishu as well as Nigeria are bringing Christians worldwide to their knees! It is not a time to turn a blind eye to the rise in Christian persecution worldwide through inflammatory rhetoric, data breaches and violent assaults. Threats to youth groups as school commences combined with violent attacks on an innocent Memphis teacher/jogger Eliza Fletcher inspired citywide/church prayer vigils this week.

Father God, we hold the Crisis in our Schools up to you, our beloved children & Grandchildren, educators and public school system.  We thank you that this Nation was founded upon Godly prayer & faith in you, and that our founding fathers dedicated this great Nation and its Education system, to you Father in prayer and the Word of God, Into your hands of love, mercy and justice! 

Lord, we are reminded of Your word that the eye has not seen nor the ear heard the Blessings you will pour out according to your word. I Corinthians 2:9 We come to you on behalf of our precious children seeking Your strength and open doors  to bring THE BIBLE AND PRAYER BACK INTO OUR SCHOOLS. Amen! 

We ask according to Hosea 14:5, that as we repent, You would pour out “the Dew of Your Presence” over our Schools once again. Lord, renew our vision for Your godliness to reign in our schools; for Your revelation and strategy to move forward with boldness to stand against the evil tide that is trying to swallow up this generation. AMEN!

I Thought I Had More Time

 

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

When my father was in stages of passing into heaven, he began to say, "I thought I had more time." It pierced me and still does. Isn't that true of me as well? Do I live as though I have time for all the things in my heart: see my grandchildren grow up, advance the Kingdom of God, vital relationships and more. Am I really ready to meet Jesus at any moment? Isn't this reality for us all?  With increasing frequency I am seeing people making the transition from this life.

What do I want to be found doing and what really matters as the day approaches when the Lord comes for me? So many things that used to consume my energy and focus, they are simply irrelevant or dimmed in significance now.  

Let's be a READYCHRISTIAN sharing the aroma of Christ while we remain here.

"For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing." LORD our God, help us carry the fragrance of You everywhere. Knowing there is a time to leave this earth and join you, let us make the most of the time You give to us."
