Cross an Extremist Symbol?

Amidst the rise of church burglaries, vandalism and bomb threats the nation’s largest Protestant denomination is being investigated for widespread sex abuses by the Justice Department and the media is now depicting the cross as an extremist symbol. 400 Ukrainian Baptist Churches were lost in Russian invasion as 41 Christians are dead in a Coptic Church attack this week. Do you ever think about how to prepare your kids to face the new school environment? Preparing your kids for school is more than books and binders. It used to be a joyous time. Now, as parents we must help them with more than just passing their spelling quiz.  

Today, we have so many mixed thoughts and emotions about school subjects, school agendas, and school safety. It’s a worthy endeavor to stay involved in your local school system and watch for the agendas and subjects being taught. But what about school safety?  There are so many things we hear that are both alarming and concerning every day. The truth is, at the end of the day, it’s our job to train our children to be vigilant and stay alert to the various challenges they face in today’s uncertain world.
