You created the nations and earth—they belong to You alone. We rejoice that we can fully trust You will be exalted, no enemy can overtake You; not today, not tomorrow, not ever. We bless You for the simple instruction to be still and know—-Who You are. You are God, there is no other and there never will be. Selah (ponder) Jesus, You are the Christ, in You, through You we come exalting God. AMEN

Bright Light in the Midst of Chaos!

With Cancellations, Travel Delays, and Power Outages bringing Chaos to the U.S. this Christmas week the Bright Light of Christ Shines Ever Greater!

A snowy Christmas may sound great in songs and for those already in a warm cabin, but the weather extremes all hitting different parts of the U.S. at the same time right now are set to put a serious curb on holiday travel plans.

In fact, the "get home by any means" experience that was forever memorialized in the 1987 movie "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" is already becoming a lot of people's reality this weekend. Record-low temperatures have left over one million in the Northeast without power while separate snowstorms have also hit the West Coast andTexas.

As of 4pm on Friday December 23, over 7,500 fights within, into or out of the U.S. have been canceled due to adverse weather. A further 6,500 have been delayed and may be canceled still -- the numbers climb higher every time one refreshes the page. 

While we watch and pray for the those who are without power to have a warm shelter, food and water within this storm we also have the opportunity as believers to ask God for a Miracle. When we pray to the God of the Universe for things that seem impossible, it is the perfect opportunity for Him to make miracles happen!

LET’S PRAY AND BELIEVE GOD FOR A MIRACLE!

Be strong and courageous, Fear not; be not dismayed; for the Lord God, my God, is with you until you have finished the work for the service of the Lord. 

1 Chronicles 28:20 

Father, we are asking and believing you to show Yourself at work in a way that puts everyone in awe of who You are and Your love. You know every detail of each of our lives. Move in this storm we pray, as we are watching with thankful hearts, to see miracles this Christmas! We ask that many lives will be touched for the Glory of your Name. AMEN

What if 5,000 were at your Front Door?

There is an Emergency in US border towns and elsewhere across the nation. No state is exempt from the situation at hand. This is a defining moment for the sovereignty of our nation. Without sovereignty we cannot uphold the Bill of Rights guaranteeing Freedom of Religion, Assembly and Speech. This is a CALL to ACTION - Prayer ACTION!

While a state of emergency has been declared in the US border town of El Paso, Texas other states are also affected:

The US Southern Border has received thousands of immigrants in the last few days and many more are lined up across the entire U.S.-Mexico border.

The Department of Homeland Security has estimated that there will be roughly 15,000 illegal border crossings per day once the policy expires. 

Today, the immigration rule or Title 42 was temporarily upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. 

LETS PRAY TOGETHER FOR: 

1. Our nation's borders to be protected. 

2. Our leaders to stop this migrant crisis. 

3. Each state's own security, law enforcement, and upholding of the rule of law. 

4. Christians to contact their State Governors today requesting action.

Scripture is clear:

“Have you not known; have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; and they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:28-31).

Attacks on Churches Triple in 4 Years!

A newly released Family Research Council report details how attacks on churches have tripled in the past four years as the Jewish community cites the FBI Faith-based Hate Crimes Data for 2021 is determined to be “flawed. Getting accurate statistics from law enforcement sources is challenging the Christian community as many who depend upon the FBI security information sharing platform InfraGard discovered it was hacked. Faith-based Info Sharing ministry FB-ISAO says Pandemic and Cyber threat level is now rated as GUARDED. DOJ admits to targeting Pro-Life groups. Despite attacks being at genocide levels the U.S. removes Nigeria from Religious Watch List. Persecution of Christians is rising in Cuba.

LORD our Great and Almighty Father, we see the increasing of evil and affliction in our day as did King Jehoshaphat our ancestor. They were oppressed as we are by those who oppose Your ways and seek to overthrow those who trust in You. But Your word instructed them as it does for us today to not be fearful.  Our enemy wants us in fear and discouragement, but instead we look to Your eternal, infallible Word to remember that our battles today are also Yours. We give the battles to You now of injustice, drugs, overreaching government, biases and lies, cover ups that blind and deceive, lawlessness unchecked and so much more. Father, we exalt You who see everything, no thing is thought or done without Your full knowledge.  Jesus the Christ, Son of God in You we ask for these numerous battles–overcoming victory AMEN.
